Default Msd Blaster SS coil question/tach adapter

The car is a 94 prelude with an h22. I was wondering if any one has installed one on their h22 and if you need the msd tach adapter to make it work? Just planning ahead, any help would be great.

Steve

Do you need the adapter if you are running an MSD ignition also?
