Are USDM ITR and GSR axles the same? I need a new pass side axle on my R but the acura dealership only sells rebuilt LS/GSR axles, will the GSR work? I have a USDM R not JDM. . .

 

Yeah, GSR's will work, I believe.

If I were you, though, I'd get a new one from Autozone for $99. Lifetime warranty.

 

yes, 94+ LS/GSR will work as longest its 5spd, make sure that if you have ABS, axles is for ABS car as well

 

try and find a local axle shop, in phoenix i pay about 40 an axle with core.

 

I just put GSR axles on my R, they were approximately .5 mm smaller in shaft diameter, other than that they are the same. My local Acura dealer has R axles, but they are $400 each, and only available new, not rebuilt.

Be careful with cheapo rebuilt axles though, you get what you pay for, my last set lasted 3 weeks , obviously they weren't rebuilt well.
