RMF or SMS?
Im planning on ordering a header withint the next couple hours and i need some help deciding. I only have 2 in mind bc i dont want to lose a/c or p/s and plus these two are supposed to be the best of the best. Ive searched and searched and i've seen the numbers but nothing from an ITR motor. Its all been b20 or b16 im just wondering if anyone on here runs an sms or rmf header on their R and what they're pros and cons are. Thanks
I was pretty set on the sms header but dave messaged me back and said it would be at least a 6 week wait. With rmf its a 3-4 week wait and a little cheaper. Price doesnt really matter i was thinking of dtr but the dyno charts ive seen sms puts it on the dtr header. I really havent seen many dynos on the rmf narrow so im trying to get a perspective of someone with it on their R
Im gonna wait it out tonite ill order tomorrow. For some reason this has become a bigger ordeal to me then i had planned. If you have any dyno charts for the RMF header on an itr or a b18 please give me some info. Thanks

there's ANR compact and standard.. the standard one will make more power cuz less bends.. they said it made 3 + hp on their car.. with standard header

That is incorrect, all AN-R headers are made by Steve Brown of Rage Performance who was Randy Monroe's former employee. The headers Steve makes are NOWHERE close to the quality and performance of the actual RMF headers.

a 6 week wait only, dang, if i had money i'd get that now, and it'd be here when my motor is finished.

I was going to post the same article. Those numbers are all on a stock JDM ITR motor so that gives you something good to compare to. RMF seemed to have more midrange and a little bit more peak aswell.
