i am in the process of picking up an 05 rsx type s with 18k on it. it has a dc sports race header, injen intake and a tsudo n1 exhuast. the car runs pretty nice, but my salesman told me if i wanted to get some more power out of the car i should look into getting the hondata reflash for the car. ive done some research and read that the car runs lean with the header and even more with the reflash. what are your opinions to what i should do? should i do the reflash or just drive the car as it is? the only thing is that it feels like for some reason, the car has slightly less torque then my brothers 02 type s with just an aem cai. but other then that, the car pulls incredibly and sounds amazing.....thanks

 

dam i thought i drive alot an 05 wit 18k...i got mine in dec and i only got 10k....but yea ur ?...they havent come out wit reflash yet for the 05...they have a kit where u can use an 02-04 ecu with a harness...but i think thats alittle to much hassle....but i think i saw a good deal for k-pro and 02-04 ecu but i forgot where think it was on clubrsx....im just gonna wait till they can put k-pro on my stock ecu...

 

Ya, like Nip is sayin. It aint out yet for the 05. Just wait a lil longer. Im sure it'll worth it

 

thanks guys. i hear great things about the kpro but i heard it wont work with the factory gauges. and plus the price is a bit high for me. i think ill just wait lol

 

i just spoke to adam from rsxmotorsports.com and he said the 05 ecu cannot be flashed....and the only option i have is to go with kpro and the conversion harness for the 02-04....... daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn
