what sensors are these and how do i get them out?

Default what sensors are these and how do i get them out?

i am currently taking out my blown d15b1 and will soon put in my d16z6 but i am having trouble removing the engine harness... i have most of the sensors off but these two on the back of the block are being stubborn... heres a few pics:





which sensors are these and how can i get them off? thanks guys

1. oil pressure sending unit

2. fan switch (sends a signal to the fan to turn on at a certain temp)

They are just plugged in and surrounded with those rubber boots. The harness should just unplug from them but they can be stubborn.

so i should just be able to pull the boots off and the wires will come with them? is this how i disconnect the harness? thanks

Yep...sometimes the rubber boot gets cooked onto the sensor. Just be careful pulling them off. There are no clips or anything you have to defeat to get the plugs off...just pull straight back.

If you can carefully pull the boots back and then you should be able to see the connectors and remove them. I ended up cutting the boot on my fan switch because I couldn't get it off. I replaced the boot with some wire loom and tape when I reinstalled it.

finally got them out... had to cut the boots but im sure i will find some way of replacing them... thanks a lot for the help guys

take the motor out and the take off the harness much eazier that way.
