Hey guys i am looking at buying a used 1995 accord ex with the v6 engine. It has around 141,000 miles on it now. I talked to the guy who ownes the car and he said that it is using somewhere between 1 and 2 quarts of oil in between oil changes. I know a higher milage car will burn some oil so i am not overly concerned. When you come to a stop you can smell oil from the passanger side of the car. Is it just a gasket leaking or are the rings maybe going? I dont see any oil spots below the car and its been sitting at the same spot for a week. No blue smoke when reving the engine. No black stuff on the bumber. Any ideas or comments would be very helpful.
