I just recently got my car back from the body shop (full re-spray). The moldings and closest surrounding areas are actually pretty smooth, which is why I'm trying to figure out if the doors were like that to begin with or what's the deal. I'll try to get some pictures, but the ripples only show up at certain angles. May I ultimately have to just get new door skins painted? Aren't ripples / waves supposed to be repairable by simply re-painting the car?
