ok so, i hav ea rollbar installed on my lil car but im lookin to get a harness bar installed. they have one for my bar from teh same company (harddog) but it costs $150 shipped or i dont even think thats with shipping. so with that said... i think its a little ridiculous to spend that much on a damn bar that bolts in but iwas thinkin of either making a harness bar to bolt in like get the schimatics and stuff and make one or get a welder and just weld the harness bar right on!!!

so... who has experience and would like to tackle this job?? oh, and i was thinking of adding on to my bar and perhaps welding the parts where its bolted on. i dont want a full cage really but a couple of bars added on. but nonetheless i need a welder (the machine and a person who can weld and maybe wouldnt ind teaching me as the process goes along?! )!!!! im in richmond, va... someone help me out! tips, how-to's, etc... all welcome.

your roll bar dosent have a cross bar in it?

 

its got a double diagonal... wont pass certain tech inspections for drift or whatever. i just want a harness bar. simple. but dont feel like spending $150+ for a damn bar.
