Default Can having to stiff of a valve spring hamper performance??????

i was thinking about purchasing the port flow inner spring in conjuction with the ITR outer. i have a P28 ECU, kenji spec, and the limiter is set at 9100rpm. now if i miss shift, i want to make sure that i dont spin a valve. i have heard, somewhere, that having a valve spring that is too stiff for the cam, i have stock ITR cams, that it will hamper performance. is this true?????? also, do you think that 11:3:1 will be an ideal compression for the stock cams.

yes you can have too stiff of a valve spring....you should only use a spring that is the nessesary stiffness.

and ive never heard of a "spun" valve.......bent? thats a possibility
