Every seen these camber kits
Hey has any heard of a camber kit that is an upper control arm and an ajustable ball joint. I thought I found some but I called up the manufacturer and he was like yeah we don't sell them for that year. I showed him the part numbers I found and it was nothing. I plan on keeping the car for a while but odnt' want to get something to expensive.
A lot of them are made like this. Look at http://www.omnipowerusa.com . http://www.kteller.com sells the omnipower stuff as well.
You usually can't get the Upper balljoint camber kits for civics. It's because on a civic the upper balljoint is a fused part of the upper control arm. This means you need a whole upper control arm style camber kit (like omni, or skunk). These have a special balljoint that sits on a slider on the new UCA. The problem with these is that they are more likely to bottom out on the shock tower than stock UCAs because they are slightly longer to accomodate the sliding balljoint. Personally I don't believe in camber kits. As long as you get your toe settings fixed after you lower your car, the tire wear will be fine (esspecially if you like hard cornering). Also, the added static camber increases your vehicles lateral grip when using stiffer springs...
I've got my hand on that type of camber kit, and we spent considerable time racking our brains over a new design to prevent this prob, but so far, no such luck. I think its an inherent flaw, minor but unavoidable. We'd like to solve the slipping and bottoming-out problem.
I do feel that camber kits have a place in suspension modding, though. Perhaps you want more camber than simply lowering provides, or you want to lower your car but want no camber at all. I think thay maybe relying simply on lowering might limit the amount of camber you can achieve, and camber kits let you broaden the range. Of course, its not for everyone.

I've dropped my 90 honda a 1.8 inches An my camber sits at -2.5 and has been that way in over a year. the problem is I eat up tires. I have the toe aligned and it has been for a while. I guess I should have said what year I had. Omni and others have apps for stuff 92 and newer.
