i bought this EF for like a month now. the third day white smoke came out from the engine bay. parked the car for 30 mins and it was good to go for almost another month until recently yesterday white smoke came out again. what is going on? the car doesn't overheat drives fine and everything. but what i noticed was i see h2o all over the engine could it be one of the hoses? but they looked normal though. so can any of you smoke wizards out there help me solve this problem before things get worst.
be more specific...where exactly is the smoke coming from...just saying smoke is coming from the engine bay will not help us find the problem....
are u sure that it water that is everywhere not coolant or oil....let us know

the white smoke comes out from the side where i focus the camera on. i'm not sure if its coolant or h2o. i'm thinking it could be the hose with the arrow pointing on it. i see a lot of h2o around that area. what is that hose called?

looks like the lower radiator hose
replace your lower radiator hose.
change your t-stat and gasket while your at it, its right behind that hose. make sure to put the ground strap back on the 2 10mm bolts, otherwise your car wont start.
check the other hoses(heater core and return) while your there for leaks. then put a coolant dye in the coolant. if you ever get a leak, you just put a blacklight around the engine bay and it will glow where it is leaking from.
and there shouldnt be any h20, you should only have coolant(green/blue) in your car, not pure h20, atleast for your sake i hope you have coolent, not just straight water. if it is, then thats possibly your problem(your coolant should be 50/50 mix of water and coolant)
