Default Uneven rotor wear- calipers?

I've got a 94 EX and my rear breaks started squealing constantly the other day. My rotors are both rusted for a good inch or two along the outside edges, but normal wear on the inside. The pads are unevenly worn pretty bad. I never noticed any braking isues until the squeal, but my e-brake has always been weak, so I never really use it (manual). Are my calipers both shot now, or could it be anything else? I assume both rotors are gone as well. Thanks.

it could be like a problem i had on my car. one of the trailing arms (i think) was bent which caused uneven wear on a rear right pad.

It could be a couple other things, too. Caliper slide pins sticking or bent, so the caliper doesn't press evenly across the pads. The piston is slotted to accept the little bump on the pad backing plate; if it's not lined up it won't press evenly on the pad. Or even the caliper bracket might be bent or loose.

Basically, you have to look for some reason why the brake pads aren't being pressed uniformly & straight.

It's possible that your rotors can be resurfaced, unless they're already too thin.
