Except if your track. It's like a condom; it good to have one and not need it, than need it and not have it.

if you are tracking your car, it is considered good track courtesy. And if your not tracking your car, i think you bought the wrong car.

I'm guessing if he was buying them for use on track, he's just get some cheap ones. It's retarded to spend $200+ on tow hooks for use on track. The only other purpose they serve is to hold a can of beer when you are working on the car.

The farther you go with your track driving training, the more likely it becomes, for even very experienced drivers.

In point of fact, however, the ITR does already have tow hooks, front and rear. You can make do, but the tow people have to reach down under the car to get to the front one, and it's placed inconveniently. I've seen a couple of ITR with little "Tow -->" decals pointing to where the hook is.

The angle is so bad that the tow line is probably going to be on your lip, adding to the pressure you'd normally feel from just getting towed in on a hot track.

You certainly don't need to spend $200 to alleviate that pressure, however.

The car is all for the track. They said I need visible tow hooks in order to go on the track, like George said the stock hooks will do, but there so high on the frame that, I'm not going to risk pulling my front lip off if they need to tow it. As far as paying 200 for tow hooks, you have to be a complete idiot or a spoon ***** to pay that much for them.

Yea, that's the best bet. They look identical to the spoon ones, but there just red. Thanks Bbasso.

figgers Bbasso would know where to look in the OBX lineup.

Before getting them though I'd be sure they are actually designed to support the weight of your car being towed out of the mud as opposed to just looking like a useful product.

Yea.. I'll find that out lol OBX tends to make stuff look good but then it turns out to be crap. If they can't make steel tow hooks than I honestly feel sorry for them
