Default Code alarm problem

I have an old code alarm in my teg from when I bought it. Recently, my alarm would activate itself at random at any old time. Then it will go off sometimes when I am in the car trying to get out. Is there anything I should check or test? It is really getting annoying!

find ya "override button"
go d/l owners manual (www.code-alarm.com)
loook for programing shock sensor
all u gotta do is tap the "override button"
couple times. the manual should show exact #
dont use code alarm its not worth paying $$$
