Default puzzled why hatch won't start....

about a month ago a friend of mine got in my car and took it outta gear. it rolled foward about 2-3 feet and hit a curb (car went over top of it) the car started for a split second, then died and hasn't started since. It has spark on all 4 and the fuel pump works and delivers the fuel. checked all fuses twice...main relay is fine along with the igniter module. dizzy cap, rotor and the igition coil are working correctly...timing belt is still on and in good shape...no CEL no ECU codes.... i'm totally baffled by whats wrong with it. any thoughts or help at all would be awesome....

When you are starting it, does it turn over? Does it crank?

take the distributor cap off, and make sure the cam(rotor) is turning. i hope for your sake it is.

if the engine cranks and the rotor doesnt move, then the timing belt is broken and you now have a head full of bent valves.

edit: just read you allready checkd the belt .... beats me man. check the injectors, make sure they are pulsing correctly. TPS wires maybe ?

Generally when a car will start for a split second then die with no restart I always check the whole fuel system. Residual pressure allowed it to start, once it pulsed a few times, the psi drops and bam no run and no start. Turn to ignition, hear for the main relay/pump, get someone to bend the fuel line and when you turn the key make sure he feels pressure. Then its double check your wiring, make sure theyre pulsing like someone mentioned earlier. Good luck.

thx for the help guys, i'm gonna be checking the injectors today but i bought some new plugs yesterday and after putting them in and cranking it over they we're wet so i know i'm atleast getting enough gas to have the car sputter even alittle....but still nothing... I was wondering if it's possible for a timing belt to jump a couple teeth after a small jolt to the car...
