Quick Q: Do I need the MSD Tach Adapter with my MSD SCI and Coil?

Default Quick Q: Do I need the MSD Tach Adapter with my MSD SCI and Coil?

Do I need to purchace the MSD tach adapter in order for my MSD SCI ignition with Blaster SS coil to work properly? I have hear that I do need it and I have heard that I don't. please someone just let me know. Its on an 01' H22A4. Thanks

mine dosent have it..the tach plug just hangs there.

but i dont know if you really need it or if you do not..

I don't have SCI but 6A with blaster 3 coil. No tach needed and everything work just fine. I don't think you need the tach adapter.
