Default Turbosmart, World Electronics or Innovative EBC. Help me decide!

I am in the Market for an EBC w/ a Gear dependent boost capabiltiy. I did a search and there is not much info on any of the top 3 that I am interested in. I saw the innovative MSBC in Felix Medinas car this weekend so, I know of at least 1 person using it . If you have personal experience w/ any of the 3 EBC's (Turbosmart E-boost 1 or 2, W.E. LCD Boost controller or the Innovative MSBC)please share them so, I can decide what to get. Thanks.

Phil

if you can afford it, go with the world electronics one, i am currently using the blitz sbc-id with the power meter and it does the same thing for cheaper, but it doesn't have the touch screen like the world electronics one though

i got the innovative msbc boost controller. it's real simple to use. i haven't wired up all the features yet though. it's probably one of the most simplest boost controller's out. If u want 25lbs, just press the up button until it shows 25lbs. i had the avc-r and between the two the msbc walks all over the avc-r. if i ever get the gear dependant feature wired up i'll let u know how i like it. Also the msbc has a time based boost setting, which could work like a 2stage boost controller without the need to hit a switch/button for the next stage.

Flip 1199, How does the timer work(start & stop)? Do you push a button when you stage?

They Turbosmart is like $375-$500, The Innovative is $450-$650 and the World Elec. is about $1100! (I have the price differences because it depends where you buy them)

you have to set up a switch or button for the timer and stages. normally the msbc goes for around 650 unless used..

The Innovative is a nice controller in my opinion. It has the boost per gear via the clutch switch. Also for every gear there is a ramp function from 0-9 if I remember correctly to bring boost on faster or slower. I havent played with the timer function but I beleive after the clutch switch is activated simulating the launch... then there is a preset time that passes before the controller automatically changes the boost levels for you... 5 total presets.

You can downlaod the manual here
http://www.innovativeturbo.com...22387

Page 15 has the timed mode.

If I were you I'd go with the Innovative or Turbosmart unit, the World Electronics is too expensive for a boost controller IMO

g2turbo and I installed and set up my msbc1, very user friendly. Works great on the street and at the track. Once we get the car dialed in we'll try the timer. I know a few GN guys that use it.
