running super rich at idle
OK here are the mods: skunk2 im, adj fpr set at 50psi, head has been milled .015 making compression 10.45:1 header, stock internals stock p72 computer. Air fuel meter is pegging out on the rich side at idle loading up the motor. check engine showed an O2 heater wire malfunction. checked o2 and it was bad. Replaced O2 sensor and code went away but still running way rich. checked TPS, couldn't find anything wrong with it but if you unplug it, the car idles no different and throws a tps code. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. And yes I have adjusted FPR down to stock 42 psi with no changes to the way it is acting. Just don't know what else I can check or adjust?! Oh yeah, the engine is B18C1 1995 obd1

you dont need 50psi of fuel pressure with those mods........lower it to about 40psi and give it a shot......it willprobably run much better also.
Thanks for replying! I did put it to 42 psi and it did not change the way it was acting. This is really stumping me, and it is not throwing any codes.
