For the life of me, I don't see why this should be applauded as it is much more angering than funny. I am very relieved that his novice permit wasn't signed off. I would have preferred they took the permit back actually. Which driver school did this student come from? WDCR or SEDiv?

Wasn't that the race for his rookie permit...and as such he was supposed to start at the back? Didn't he pay attention in class?

Just out of curiousity, wouldn't they grid him in the back then in the first place instead of holding him?

What happened? Did they ever let him back into racing, to me this is a pretty serious offence.

I think it was an incredibly stupid/risky thing to do, but how can you not laugh at a guy shrieking "I'm seventh!" about 35 times while 66 cars he out-qualified drive past him?

Honestly, I was holding my breath the whole time he came through the field, waiting for somebody to warm up their tires right into him. I for one do not go overboard checking my mirrors on that lap.

 

All I can think of is WOW! Lucky he didn't hit anyone, as most people probably wern't looking for someone to be passing them at those speeds.
