Default Question about stock gauges

I have a freind with a 2000 accord v6, automatic. The problem is when he is driving, they will sometimes just drop to zero, all at once. Has anyone had this problem?

uhm, sounds like a connection in back of the guages is probably loose. If everything at the same time is dropping to zero then check the fuses first, then after that give the top of the dash a little tap and see if it happens when you do that. If it does, its a loose conneck!

yeah he said it does so every now and then. Has anyone ever experienced the connections just loosening like that. This car is completly stock, so it has never been tampered with.
