It's an Italian company, and in Italian you usually need an "i" to make an "ee" sound.
My money is on the correct pronunciation being "die-uh-nay-say."
Good thread though...I've always wondered about this.

And a few others, such as Shoei (Show-ee or Shoe-ee) and Suomy; or one of the harder ones to pronounce, like KBC (kabuck?).

I don't think any of these can be right, for the simple reason that we're reading the "ese" like Americans. We see that suffix and think "eez," as in "Chinese." But a place with a stronger Romance language tradition, like Spain or Italy, would pronounce the last "e" sound. I am pretty sure it's not silent.

I thought it was Die-a-neas for the longest time but i guy i met who has (i kid you not) 10+ full suits by them most autographed by famous riders along with an entire closet FULL and overflowing with other full suits as well as helmets to go with. goes to Europe every other month or so to ride.
he says it: Die-a-nes-E
so I'm guessing that he is right but i think the first way sounds better...
