i also have a question about my bump stops. my front bump stops are the stock ones, just cut in half. the rear are the bump stop my tokico's came with. could i shave off like a 1/8-1/4 inch off all the bumps stops to lower my car just a bit more? i know this will decrease ride quality a little but i wanted to know if this would actually lower it enough that it would be noticeable.

It should say in the instructions how much you should torque the nut or whatever your fastening.

Thats the only way to know its right.

you tighten down the nut until its nice and tight. do not gorilla it! (never gorilla anything on a car..) youll end up splitting the shock rod at the tip. there should be about a 1/4" of thread showing.

i cut my bumpstops in half. not problem. just as long as theres some kind of bumper before the shock rod crashes into the bottom of the shock.

not sure if i read what you were asking correctly, but it seems like you said cutting the bumpstop lowers your car, which it does NOT. it just allows more shock travel which is taken away when you lower your car.
