What do you deduct when you pop out any spark plug, plug it back in the spark plug wire and crank the motor and it results with no spark jumping off the electrode?


The motor's symptoms are when you start the engine, it turns over, once you open up the throttle by pressing the gas pedal the motor dies out. Either because lack of spark...I'm open to all suggestions and advice as to diagnose this challenge. T.I.A.

 

check your wires with a multimeter they should be about 30ohms also incorect gapped plugs remember anything more than i prong plugs cant be gapped just replaced. check the distributor cap and rotor for wear, and replace. i dont think that the coil or ignitor would be bad cause then it wouldnt run at all.

Did anything lead up to the problem? Also, were you grounding the plugs when you were testing for spark?
