What Wiring will i need for D15B2 mini-Me swap with MPFI swap also??
Here's my dilema. I have a 91 civic DX 4 door, D15B2 with auto 4 speed
I found someone that wants to sell me a 91 civic hatch (base model, apparently it's a D15B2 with the 4spd manual in it, sounds like it might be the D15B1 HX, he claims its not though)
the hatch has no spark, he said that the radiator went out and it overheated and blew the head gasket, he replaced it and now there's no spark but he says the engine is ok. i dont know if he's full of it or not. anyways, i'm going to buy the hatch for 400$, he said the interior is in good condition and all the rust (the usual around-the-fender rust) has been repaired.
What i want to do is do a mini-me swap, and put the MPFI on it. i would do this all to my car, but i want a manual transmission, plus the hatch is lighter. so what wiring do i need to make this all work?? plus i am wondering if there's a way i can find out if the cylynders are cashed out on that block other than a compression test, maybe there's a scope that is small enough to fit into the spark plug holes on the head?? thanks in advance for any comments

Check compression in the cylinders, only way.. you should be resurfacing the head before just replacing the HG. If it overheated then it was warped and will blow another HG really soon unless you're just lucky.
As for wiring, checkout http://www.rywire.com. Whatever you go with, we've got it.
With the MPFI conversion you'll end up using a different distributor anyway. So who cares
If you send the wiring to us for the conversion we can troubleshoot anything that comes up later on. That's probably just a bad distributor.
