It's another car doesnt start thread!! 93 GSR
My friend's 93 GSR is having troubles starting.. it would start for about 2-3 seconds and then die out. It seems like it runs on the primed fuel and then it doesnt get anymore fuel after that, even when you step on the gas.
I'm thinking it might be a fuel pump issue. If we were to swap in a known good fuel pump, would one from a 91 Integra LS work? Or would I need one from a 92+ Honda/Acura?
Also, what might cause a situation like this?

Try the main fuel relay first - common problem on older Honda/Acura's. Replacing the fuel pump on that car is easier said than done, make that your last resort.
check your fuses, connections and gas cap. my guess is its the main relay which is located underneath the dash. its really easy to change. it costs about $65 from the dealer.
