d16y7 OBD2a => OBD1 Question
Heyas, I was told my a friend that the OBD2a harness is reverse compatible with the OBD1 harness, in the sense that I can use the OBD2a harness and remove a couple wires to run the OBD1 ecu? Can anyone give me a link or info on what specifically needs to be done?
Also, I have heard that I need to change the d16y7 alternator with a d15b7 or other OBD1 alternator? Is this true?

What about using a d15b7 harness on the d16y7?

so with a conversion harness, can I still use the obd2 parts?
I have a spare d15b7 motor in my garage, so I'm sitting pretty in that aspect.
Shed some light.. what are my options and what needs to get done?
