Where is the Idle position sensor, and how do i Adjust it.
I just got a 96 integra rs yesterday and its idling smoothly at 500-600rpms.
I want to know whats the Normal idle for a 96 integra rs with just an intake, no exaust or anything else.
I heard adjusting the Idle position sensor will help it and u can make it back to normal
where is it, and how do i adjust it.
thanks guys

Do you mean, Throttle Position Sensor maybe? You don't need to mess with it. I highly doubt you would know what you're doing, considering you don't know where it is, nor what it's actually called. I'm not trying to be a dick, it's just that I have worked in the auto parts industry for 4 years now, and I see tons of people who don't know what they are doing, trying to fix their cars, and end up just ******* them up, costing them more money. The TPS is held onto the Throttle Body with two small screws. These screws don't have a standard head on them, therefore you must drill them out, then get two 4mm screws to replace them. As said before, there is a small stud under the throttle rotor that is there to adjust the throttle. You can even adjust your throttle cable. If you really want to up the throttle, then just adjust the cable. It will take you 10 minutes tops, and you surely can't mess something up doing that.
