Default h22 auto to manual tensioner, need instruction...

Hey guys,
I have been looking for a while and found 2point6's thread about this but the collectiveracing site is done for I am getting my block back soon from sleeving and decided to do a manual tensioner conversion. If anybody can help me with tips or another good thread or something I would be eternally grateful I have to have the car all reassembled and ready to go for school in August! Anyways, thanks for your help in advance.

yea, thats the thread I pointed out up top made by 2point6, but all of the pictures aren't there and the collectiveracing.net site is done for. And, SKDRCR, I searched and could not find something structured enough for me . I guess I will just have to buy the parts and see how much I can get together.

Dude,

Get a copy of last month's Honda Tuning...they did that specific job.

P.S. In case you didn't know, the manual tensioner can be found on the H23 engine...Good Luck!

Did you read the article? Because I think it was straight to the point with plenty of info...you can call Honda Tuning for a back issue-toll free-at 1-866-601-5199. At $7 I think it would be worth it unless you have a Helms manual....

Also, you can order the manual tensioner (adjuster), bracket, bolts, spring, and washer for a 92-96 Prelude Si at your local Honda parts shop....

Do you plan to keep the balance shafts? If not, all you need is parts 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30. http://www.hondaautomotivepart...82%29 It's pretty self explanatory once you have all the parts in front of you.

I was thinking about that. However I would have to get a balance shaft removal kit though correct? What are the advantages to not having the balance shaft?

okay, but do I still have to get a balance shaft removal kit? I saw a review on the board not to long ago about it.
