Default Nicky Hayden

Did anyone catch the interview on WindTunnel (on speed channel) with Nicky Hayden? I was shocked to see something other then nascar on Speed .. but it was a good interview.

I'm getting pumped to see what happens at Laguna .. what do you guys think will be the outcome?

Nicky has won at Laguna twice .. he has the experience and hometown advantage. But Rossi is just insane on anything with wheels.

So i dunno .. i'm excited though. Any predictions?

Hopefully he'll finish in the Top 3 so he can get to the podium. Same with Colin Edwards and John Hopkins.
True Nicky has won, but on totally different bikes though.

Nicky Hayden needs a win, he is on a works bike and has done little to justify it IMO.

My prediction:

1) Rossi
2) Edwards
3) Melandri

I remembering hearing something about how next year one of the repsol riders right now will get the boot to make room for Dani Pedrosa. And personally if they do boot somebody, it's probably going to be Hayden. Biaggi is more consistent but I'm hoping Nicky can pull through for the remainder of the season and keep his spot.

They may well both go. Biaggis for my money is on hos last roll of the dice with a fastory team. If he doesn't show he can be competitive at the highest level with the backing of HRC then he will bnever do it. Hayden is quick but you cant win the race in single laps and he doesnt seem to be able to concentrate for the duration.

End of the day they are all being beaten by greatness, The best Honda can hope for is beating a sat team.

Wow .. Hayden is getting alot of attention in the media also .. saw him on WindTunnel like i mentioned .. he's one of Americas 50 top eligable bachelors, per People Magazine, and he was on the Today Show where some chick went and kinda raped him by making out with him ...

I just hope he hits a podium finish .. he needs it, and HRC needs it. I know Biaggi has had a few ok finishes, and Hayden's best 05 finish is 4th place .. with 150,000 fans at Laguna, i just hope they're cheering on Hayden and the rest of the men from the USA rather then getting stuck in the Rossi cult. I'm not dissing on Rossi, he is amazing on a bike or anything and it would be amazing to witness him ride in person, but people just gotta show the love.

What time will Laguna be on Speed, in Pacific time?

I hope that everyone finished ahead of HRC. Their arrogance is coming back to hit them where is hurts, right in the pocket.

Hope the Americans do well. I'll be there cheering them on. But ya, HRC gotta realize its not all about the Bike. Its the Rider too and Rossi is proving that with Yamaha.

I don't got tickets to Laguna Seca. Is there a time and channel (I assume Speed) to watch the event?
