Default Speaker size?

i was wonderin if anyone knows what size speakers are in the front of a 1992 honda accord ex. i thought they were 5 and 1/4 but thats not it. any help please

i got 6.5s in my LX, im pretty sure thats how all 4th gens are, the diff with the EX is 6x9s in the back, not 6.5s.

it showed me only back speakers, i wanna know what size are in the front though cuz they are bein hard to find, its a sedan, if that helps, thanks please help

i swear the ones i pulled out were 5 and 1/4 but when i got new 5 and 1/4 they didnt wanna fit, and if 6.5 will fit id love to put those in but is there enough space?

yeah, 6.5s slide right in, just watch out for the brand you buy. for my infinitys i had to drill new holes into that black plastic thing. but 6.5s are the speakers for the front.

alright i was outside measuriin that hole, and from screw hole to screw hole, they are 5 and 1/4, but i had a set of 5 and 1/4 that did not fit, and im wonderin how you got 6.5s in cuz that is definitly not the size i pulled out. a little more help?

ehhhh, 6.5 is the size bro... if the 5.25s are too small... go 6.5.

no they are not the same, i have 6x9s in the back, and definitly not 6x9s in the front. and yes taht is right 92 ex sedan

SIGH... i cant even find any ****** speakers for the front.. i know a lot of ppl with 4th gens and the speaker size they used in the front was 6.5.

yea see that was the prob i had, i couldnt find any for the front, but the front and back definitly arent the same size

I put 6.5" all around in my '93 not too long ago. The 6.5"s WILL fit the front panels but I had to cut the back off the black plastic bracket to get the larger magnet to fit. The plastic is fairly soft so it's not too difficult. But the bracket has holes that line up for either 5.25" or 6.5" speakers.

All you guys are both right!
