how to check CEL's
I recently had a d16z6 motor installed along with a p28 ecu with the Evasive motorsports obd-obd1 conversion harness in my CRX and now I'm getting a CEL. On the instructions which came with the conversion harness it says to "put a toggle switch between the yellow and black wire provided on the sub harness to check for sensor codes". What do they mean by "toggle switch". I tried using a light between the two and nothing happened. Any help in greatly appreaciated as I'm stuck on this one3.
Thanks

Here's the deal, on obd1 cars they use a jumper wire to check the cel, so, find the check enging pin on the harness and run a wire to a switch, and the other to a ground, BAM, there you go!

yah, Toggle switch, just run one wire to one wire, then the other to the other, when the switch is turned on, itle blink the CEL, when its off it wont show anything.
If you dont know what a Toggle switch is, Its just simple on and off switch, up and down, thats it, VERY simple.
