Default ls swap into my eh

im interested in peoples opinions and experiances with this swap, from what ive heard its pretty straight forward, any snags or things to take into consideration (i read in one post about it having a long tranny, can someone elaborate?)

im considering this swap mainly because of $$/availability but also because i have many good peices for a HMT laying around

any help would be great, thanks-

i love my ls swap.

Just remember you have to get some of the integra mounts. Actually all of them except the upper tranny mount

also remember to do a tune up right away.

long tranny just means the gears are long. it doesnt mean the tranny is physically too long to fit in the engine bay.

i helped a buddy swap his eh with a LS motor...its REALLY straight forward...no extra wiring needed as long as youre using the LS wiring harness (we used the cx cuz the ls was cut up)...the only snag we had was the throttle cable...had to use an LS one not the stock CX...good luck with youre swap

thanks alot guys for the replies (and thanks for clearing up that 'long' tranny issue )

i have the z6 right now and it has vtec obviously, there arent any issues of rewiring for a nonvtec engine?

which axles will i use the ls or my eh's?

sorry for the noob questions but i want to be as informed as posible before i run out and buy the engine

thanks again

u just wont have to worry bout the vtec wiring which is i beleive like 2 plugs which you wont have to use...theyre like right by ur dizzy plugging into ur vtec solenoid (not too sure where they are on dseries) you use the bseries axles, theyll fit right into ur stock eg spindles...
