Well I got my 19 error code taken care of last night thanks to Kenji. (Thanks again Kenji)

Anyways, I am getting an error code 10 (that is why i thought the original was 29, it was flashing a 10, then 19)

Anyways, On the a6, the intake temp sensor is located on the drivers side of the intake manifold (above the alt).

On the y8 motor, the intake temp sensor is located in the rubber intake tube that runs from the airbox to the throttlebody.

Since the a6 intake tube is too short, I was going to get a cold air intake (probably aem) and install that. To make up for the extra 1 1/2 - 2 inches I was going to purchse some of the rubber tubing that is used on intercoolers etc, and use a longer piece of that to mount the cai to the throttle body.

My question is this, could I mount the intake temp sensor into the cai, or that rubber piece? It appears that it slides into a hole in the rubber intake tube, so I am assuming it would work easier in the rubber piece.

On the y8 it is mounted about 4 inches from the tb, would placing it closer cause any problems????

Has anyone done the sohc vtec swap and used the vtec intake manifold, or is it just too much work??????

Well I went to crown honda and ordered the 98 air intake temp sensor. I will make it work with my cai, and that will be the end of it.
