Weird B16 harness
ok, I got a b16 out of a DX crx. and I THINK who ever installed the motor used the wiring harnes that came with the b16.
according to the DPFI to MPFI conversion threads, alot of people say use the 2 injector wires on the DPFI injectors and splice them into the Resisitor box.
well on this motor, It plugs right into the harness, it looks like a stock harness. and I can see where the vtec wire is, and the 2 O2 wires are. and they arnt spliced into the harness. it looks like a Stock honda harness. not like new wires where run into the origional harness.
Either someone did a REALLY REALLY good wiring job or they used the one that came with the motor.
what do you guys think???

and no.. . it's either Rywire, maybe hasport, or someone managed to use the OBD0 B16 harness from a UKDM (can't do JDM RHD) CRX ..
And NO a UKDM does not plug and play, but it's close enough so you can depin and repin the firewall connectors. You still have to mess with that nasty 10 pin plug which you can only solder to unfortunately. And you would have to add wires to the interior harness as well ... running them from the ECU to the firewall connectors... (everyone thinks they're just there... like magic er something lol) You have to run those to the firewall connectors from inside the car to make that "like stock" and that isn't easy. Talkin dash removal.

That makes sense, Origionaly the car had a CEL, and was in limp mode. but it ran.
I have no idea what they did to this car. but how can I tell if its a Stock honda harness, or aftermarket????

well, It plugs into the harness in the engine bay. meaning, those huge Barel plugs on the right of the engine bay ontop of the shock tower, by the Master Cylinder, it fits in, Along with the plugs by the Fuse Panel. Can I just plug all this in, and Repin where the ECU plugs are?
