Default removing center console

my brother bought me aluminum shiftbox bushings. i'm trying to take out the center console but i have trouble taking out the power panel between the cup holder and the audio deck. the instructions say just to pull from the bottom corners, but i can't seem to get it off.

help me out, please!

it will pop off you may need to pry it a bit. be carefull what you use so you don't mess it up. try the back of a butter knife.

Take the shiftknob off, and grab through the boot to get to the back side of the panel, pull it towards you to pop it out, then pull downwards to unclip it

i have a dc5. i got the darned panel off. i tried it today and it came off without much effort for some reason.

so i installed the aluminum shiftbox bushings and now my shifts feel more solid. that mushy feeling from hard shifts is gone. even daily driving shifting feels more solid. i also installed a razo gas pedal, and so heel-toe downshifting is far easier. i don't have to turn my heel as much. thanks for the help guys!
