i had the stage 3, street disc, and heavy duty flywheel. and just about 500 break in miles too. it went out in just over 3 months, and the warranty is 90 days, so i called them and they were like send it in to us so we can see if it was defective. and i was like ya, right, and be without a car for like a week?? i need transportation, so i just got a new LUK clutch. i stilll have the ACT in my garage, and i still havent sent it in, im going to soon, and ask them if they can re inburse me for the labor and new clutch, b/c that is BS, it shudnt go out in 3 months, that **** was like 500 bucks.

500 is what they recommend for break in, but it also depends on the miles. if you jump on the hiway in fifth and just go, it's not the same as 500 miles of city driving shifting. I'm putting in ACT heavy duty plate, ACT 6 puck, and Fidanza 8lb flywheel next week and I was planning on 700-800 break in to be safe. If It goes in less than a year, I'll be pissed!

AEMPrelude, I would just use the ACT pressure plate and maybe get a compition clutch disc, Ive heard good things about them

ya, i would, but im a little strapped for cash, thats why i havent even shipped the old clutch in to get tested. but im pissed, b/c the clutch went out like 5 days after the warranty expired, so imma call them again, and see if they can pay for all the **** i had to go thru, to get a new clutch, and towing and all that crap..

i personally avoid all brands that can ONLY be found on ebay.
btw my ACT lasted 50k miles, and when it went i just swapped another ACT disc in and its been good for another 8k or so so far.
