Restoring black trim
When I bought my EG it came with the side mouldings, mirrors, door handles, and lip painted white to match the rest of the car. I would like to change these back to how they were (black). How would I be able to do this? Could I sand down the white paint to reveal the black or should I paint these?

i dont know how this will work on those parts but i read a thread on here saying how to get paint off interior peices like when some one paints stuff bright blue. and what they did was soak it in brake fluid and it eats away the paint but i dont know if its the same for the mirrors and stuff. if you painted over the white with black the road debris might chip the black and reveal white

Do either of you have a link to that post?
