How To Change Bulbs on '02 Civic HX
I just bought me a 2002 Civic HX on Wednesday and the right signal is out (both bulbs). I thought it would be simple to remove the headlight like my CRX but it seems that there are two screws on the top and since the entire headlight is encased the front, I can't just pull it out. I don't know if there is a screw I am overlooking or what but I removed the two screws on the top and tried sliding it forward, upward, etc, but it just won't come out.
The squiggly arrows mark the two screws I removed but it still won't budge.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Shaunie

There is a bolt on the side under the bumper cover, and two under the headlight. You're better off taking the battery out to change your bulbs than removing the lamps.
read your owner's manual
there's a bolt holding the headlight from under, you have to take your front bumper to do that.
easiest way to change the signal bulbs: look in your wheel well, you'll find a screw. take that baby out, squeeze your hand in between the wheel well plastic and you'll have access to the lights.
then again, if you looked it up in your owner's manual, it'd say the same.
