Universal Aluminum Reservoirs
I have spent the last hour searching for a small aluminum reservoir that I would use to use as a remote mount brake fluid reservoir. There are some out there for Quads and street bikes but they are a little smaller than I would like. Most of em run around $100 also. I have looked at kitchen supply places as well s candle mold stores and have come up empty. Anyone seen what I am looking for for a decent price? I'll paypal $5 to whoever posts up a link with something I will use. Thanks all in advanced.
That's what a larger master cylinder resevoir is for. Nothing better than feeling your brake pedal fall to the floor because you don't know what you're doing.
Saw it yesterday, member of the Joliet Autobahn must have been going 100+ down the North straight during full-track and totaled his Mustang. Friend of his mentioned to me that he attempted to do his own brake work the day before.
Tilton makes some remote resevoirs and adapters but I'd really opt for a bigger resevoir on the master cylinder. The less things to go wrong in a braking system the better.

If I didn't understand braking systems I wouldn't have asked the question. What I am trying to do is move the reservoir to a cooler location.
Maybe one of these can help?

Do not use a reservoir without a diaphram to keep the moisture out of the braking system Brake fluid is like a magnet for moisture

Just insulate the stock reservoir. You'll be fine with decent brake fluid.
I run my MC right next to my turbo/downpipe and she's perfectly happy with Ate Superblue on the track.
