Default ls/vtec swap/na or turbo questions

i want to do the ls/vtec swap and i have some questions about it. first off i wanted to no if the b16a1 head will fit right on top nof the b18a block? like with out having to move dowel pins or any thing? secondly i was wondering if the b18a motor mounts will work in my 90 hatch ? and lastly i was wondering what some of you guys have gotten out of this setup? like dyno numbers or times or pics? what ever you got. thanks for the help.

greatly apresiated if you bump once viewed.
thanks hooker

no, you need to move dowel pins (machine shop), fabricate an oil line get a head gasket, and, althought you dont have to, id build it (pistons, rods, headwrk etc) i dont know if youve heard but many say ls/vtecs can be unreliable, and building will help rule out all of the imperfections of the b18a/b bottom end. your best bet is to SEARCH!! i know goldeneagle sells conversion kits and such, but truthfully, search!! and good luck

thanks for the info on the build. im hoping that all things do go through well. lol i do plan on doing the build up on the bottom. i think im going with dart sleeves and eagle rods/pistons. im also going to be doing head work like titanium retainers and springs. im eather going to go with crowler cams or skunk 2. i to have heared that they are not reliable. but i do have a buddy that has this with turbo and he is running 27 psi and i think hes got like 475 or so hp. its a nice setup.
