Default WHY IS THEIR A GAP

someone help me please. well i was all hyped because i got a spoon rep wing for my eg but when i put it on there was a gap from where my wing and the top of my car meet of about 1 inch whats going on did i install it wrong. (oh yea and one side is an inch and the other is about a inch and a quarter

someone please help

<U>THERE</U> is a gap so that it doens't hit the roof skin when you lift the glass.

Exactly. You don't want it to be right against the roof, or you'll end up losing paint everytime you open it.

If the gap is extremely excessive, you might consider drilling out the metal brackets that hold the wing to the car, that way you can adjust the fitment a little bit. You'll probably want to add some washers as well, so the bolt doesn't work it's way through.

thats a great idea will try, yea i know there is a gap so that u dont scuff the top of the roof but this gap is extreme lol. but thanks for the idea.
