new fuel filter..?
ok so im up in the 100+ category right now. i am wondering if it would be worth while to change my fuel filter and pump, or either or. i was wondering where the fuel filter is located, sorry if this is a re-post, and how hard it is to replace? same with the fuel pump. thanks alot.
There really is no point to replacing it. Pump should be replaced if it is failing and car is running very lean or you are boosting and need more flow.

What is the point of replacing your oil filter? Figure it out genius.

I hit 100k km and I'm planning on changing my filter, although it's an optional thing, for those who have doubts... it's called preventive care... solving problems before they happen.
Here's the diagrams:
Hope that helps you find it!

right. Basically it says to not worry about it until the fuel pressure drops below the minimum. I wouldnt change it unless you are having fuel press problems...

I say just change it. It doesn't cost much and doesn't take long to do it. I changed mine at ~68k, guess what, the fuel came out of the filter was dark brown color (dirty). I changed it because I felt like to, not because something was wrong with my car. My car ran fine the whole time. I always used 93 octane. PREVENTIVE CARE my friend!

I concur, but sometimes it turns into one of those "if its not broken dont fix it" kinda projects for some people.

me too...if it wasn't for my friend to help me get out a piece of metal shaving in my threads, i probably would have been there until the night time. Thanks Duane. But when you change it, the fuel is much cleaner. I too am a very firm believer in PREVENTATIVE CARE.
Hi all, one part of the manual that was left out specifically says to replace the filter every 60,000 mi/96,000 km/48 mos (whichever comes first)...I kinda err on the side of everyone and the Honda engineers with this one.
