Default Racing harness....how to install?

Hey guys, needed a little help with installing a racing harness in my 98 civic coupe. Never done this before and was hoping to get some advice on the mounting points. My interior is entirely stripped and I can see various bolts holding plates together. Now what I was thinking is that I could take a bolt out and tap out the hole to accept the larger bolt for the harness, and tap out the rear holes that bolt the seat to the floor. Is this a good idea? What are your suggestions?

what kind of harness is it? im not sure if you can mount them in the same places for each one but my corbeau harness said i could mount it to a roll cage, mount it to the rear seatbelt hole (which i did) or mount it straight back.

do not mount it straight down to the floor, that will kill you in an accident..

You shoudnt mount a harness without a roll cage, cause if you car flips over the harness holds you straight up and you will not slide down therefor crushing your spine.
But if u had a roll cage it wouldnt matter....hopefully

You need to have as MINIMAL of an angle as possible on the upper harness (the ones that go over your shoulder). If you mount these to the floor, you risk the chance of really hurting yourself if you were ever in a front-end or rear-end collision, not to mention flipping over.

With the angle being at such a high approach, it will compress your spine like a fat woman sitting on a stack of pancakes. You definitely need to have some sort of support, or bar, going across from pillar to pillar to securely and safely mount the harness.

BTW, is this a track car or is this a bling-only upgrade?

It's for both. I plan on taking it to the track as well as looking good.
