which would be a better autox car between a 92 civic hatch w/ sohc vtec, or 94 integra rs? both same suspension setup?

 

buy em both and swap the dohc 1.8 into the hatch.

 

i'd go with the hatch, lighter car and it'll handle better. Forget bout the 1.8 invest in a K20 or K24

 

Do the hatch and build your SOHC VTEC less money and more available aftermarket parts for the hatch.

 

a single cam civic can be an awesome car built up.

I was driving one around a bit in the local stadium lots the other day with a SRR FD I think it was a 4.9 and damn was it fast even just leaving it in 2nd.

As far as a k series well the k24 is going to be over 200 pounds more weight on the front over the stock d and since the k20's are getting nuked by mishifts and over reving as a result I'd be hesitant to use one over a well tuned b

 

hmm, i considered building a sohc vtec car, but i was more curious on handling characteristics..ive heard the civic handles better, and vice versa.
