Just curious if anyone has ever used the cooling fans from Auto Zone? They seem to be OK cause every one of them I've seen looks real easy to use in tight fitting areas. I'm asking cause I'm about to go to a smaller radiator & I'm wanting to mount the slim fans on the front of the A/c condenser coil. That should give me a ton of room when I install a turbo in the future.

I don't know too much on the Autozone fans. I checked the website with little luck. Do you have a link?
You may want to check this company out. Maradyne makes some high quality fans that don't bust the wallet. http://maradyne.com/maradyne_mobile/ . From what I know, they are endorced by many race teams, even NASCAR(take that for what it's worth...
). I have one of the high performance fans in my car, along with a Civic (Fluidyne) radiator. Paired with a SPOON low-temp fan switch and thermostat I have never seen my car get hotter than just past the 1/4 mark on the temp gauge. I was able to test this first hand last summer while driving through Southern Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California in the middle of August.
A top quality fan that is VERY easy to install.

That is one strange website... If you type in Montgomery, AL it comes up with nothing... But if you type in M, AL it comes up with 25+ ...... Very... Strange
But I did find one...
bad news.. It's kinda far, 174 miles, 3 hours 44 mins.
Here is the address- 831 Montlimar DrMobile, AL 36609
Best I could do.

Keep in mind, you may have to clear the intercooler up there, along with an oil cooler that you might want.
This works... Lovefab Minime that was made to fit with a full size radiator. Also the GReddy kit cleared it well enough. A single fan cut it just fine in Chicago 90 degree stop and go.

Lmao! Well obviously
50 / 2 = 25x the cost of the hooker, it has to suck hard

Does anyone else see a problem with decreasing cooling capacity and then installing a turbo? I would think you would want all the cooling capacity you can get when going turbo.

You don't really need much cooling capacity unless you're doing HPDE.
Even then, a nice half-length radiator can cool at least as well as stock.

The Fluidyne Civic radiator I put in my car is more than twice as thick as the stock Type R radiator. Not only does it hold as much liquid, but it's also no longer sitting infront of a hot *** exhaust manifold. Something to think about....
