Turbo whistles on spool down.... getting weird....
just starting to happen as of late. It used to happen for a fraction of time before....barely noticeable. Now it lasts for like 3-4 seconds. When the turbo is spooling down....it sounds normal like a turbine cutting air. But at a certain wheel rpm it starts to whistle or whine...it sounds like what your brake pads sound like when they hit the wear marks.I checked the turbine housing and compressor housing to make sure that the **** is ok...looks good
Is it possible that it could be the bearings in the center section? or related to seals?

the compressor blades? I'll pull the cover off today. I guess thats what you get for running a screen at the track and not the filter :-P
