You can get a brand called Hypercoils for great prices here:

http://www.kingratmotorsports.com/products.php

I think 500 lb are only sold in 8" so you are in luck.

hey guys........another question about these coil overs.........the coils that originally came with the kit are 8" in length.......GC has an avalible 10" coil with the spring rate i want.......and judging by the ammount of room i have in the front it will fit without a problem.

so my question is would there be any benifit in running a longer front spring of the same spring rate?

im only asking because the 8" tall spring is back orderd according to the website...

I would calll them regarding stock issues. If they do not have them in stock we drop ship for GC and I know we have them.

Stick with an 8" spring.

please tell me you're kidding... what makes you think that longer would make it better, just from a common sense point of view?

if springs for your integra were on backorder would you order some toyota springs? Point is there is a big difference betwee 8" and 10" springs, it doesn't take a genius to figure out why you shouldn't put 10" springs on a set up designed for 8" springs... if they're on backorder, go to another place or wait. Seriously, if you can't even comprehend the difference between the two and what they do, why do you even run coilovers? I'm all for helping people with legitimate questions, but damn, use some common sense.. people like you give all enthusiasts a bad name, and please don't reply with something like "stfu noob," juts shows how ignorant you are.

why is it bad that he runs 10" springs? if it would still allow him to get to his desired ride height then it doesn't really matter.

now im not sure that he could get to his desired ride height with the 10" spring, but that is the only thing that would play into it.

Seesh i run 7 inch springs on my car, no big deal

Just FYI, many people go down one inch in length instead of up. The GC coilovers for the DC2 are 8" F and 7" rear, but I've met people using 7" F and 6" rear. I am in the process of doing the same to my car soon. I aready bought 7" F but haven't replaced them yet, and will order 6" rear soon as I get time to replace them.

If you're going to lower the car, then the shorter springs make more sense than longer. One advantage is that the shorter the springs, the less weight. Right now I am using 8" R because I wanted to try out a certain rate and found these cheap, but they are pretty heavy. 10" springs must be heavy pieces.

i think you got yourself by trying to flame someone when you didn't have the right answer yourself.

and, you're too late to play it off, cuz your first answer was pretty half ***, and some people have since posted the right reasons why he shouldn't go with a 10" spring.

self-ownage is my favorite kind of ownage to watch.

bad-monkey I didn't give a direct answer because it's pretty common sense (anyone that owns coilovers or wants to buy coilovers should know what the difference is, if they don't, the question of why they're even running coilovers arises), I can understand him considering the 10 inch spring if the 8" one wasn't made, but its on backorder, all he has to do is go somewhere else or have a little patience, instead of doing things half-assed.
With the 10" spring to get the same ride height he'll have to preload the spring 2" more to get the same ride height with the 8" unpreloaded, which, I don't know what kind of shocks he has and if the adjustment range will allow - plus the added unsprung weight.
It's not the end of the world but just getting the 10" because the 8" is on backorder is a horrible reason. His whole attitude is what gives car enthusiasts a bad name, armed with little knowledge and comebacks like "STFU noob."

He isn`t going to be able to pre-load a 10" spring 2"

oops, regarding my post above, I dunno why I said preload... guess I'm the real dumbass making a mistake like that... anyway to fit the 10" spring at the same height as 8" you can move the perch down 2" (not up, as i said above), which depends on if you can moveit down 2", dependingo n whatever shock you use.
