I bought a motor from a dealer localy, They bought the motor form Noyan, and sold t to me for like 50 bucks more. Motor was in great shape, and ran great till i blew it up. I hear if you go to there building, they will let you pick which one you want. If i get another motor thats were ill be going.
I drove down there and bought a front clip from them about a year or so ago.. Didn't charge me extra for the LSD tranny that was in the clip....I thought that was pretty cool. If you are close enough to drive there I would...I spent about an hour just walking around looking at motors and clips.

I got my b16 from there, and the first one came with a blown head gasket, so i called them and he said "sorry", and he sent me another motor and let me keep the one with the bad gasket. Two motors for one! They are good people!
ya i'm close anuff to drive down there i'm in lynchburg its a couple hours away so i will make a day of it if they let me i would like to get a zc that was automatic because there usally not as abused as a 5speed
yeaa Noyan USA is a good place to buy a motor from. I used to work in a shop that did non stop swaps and we bought all of our motors from there never had any problems cept one time we got a water logged B16A ECU but no biggie old one was shipped out and new was shipped back in a week.
I used to do swaps out of my house for some extra money, and always got my motors from them... I always dealt with Mark and he was real cool, always sent me swaps with good axles and linkages and crap for free.
Yeah, if you go there, they will let you pick your motor. I had several customers do that.
I would definitely vouch for them.

Noyan is about 10 miles from my house.
mark doesn't work there anymore. Last time I rolled up there he was visiting on his lunch break.. now he's working at the transmission repair shop back behind them.
there's a new guy, Jon, who knows a good deal about the honda stuff. He works the front desk like Mark used to.
I've had some good and some bad experiences with Noyan. Mostly my only huge problem was that they would tell me they had something and then once I secured a sale with someone miraculously they would be sold out. So I already got paid by my customer and I had no motor to send. I used to resell motors for them but now they can't offer any price that is within the realm of being competition for the motors widely available online.
When/if you get an ecu from them MAKE SURE IT IS THE RIGHT ECU. They have a long history of giving EVERYONE an automatic ecu.
If anyone wants a motor, I can maybe get a better price since. They usually give me a pretty good discount on shipping. Not guaranteed I can help since their prices aren't as good as they were about 2.5 years ago, but its worth a try. Let me know.
I can also roll up there and do a quick visual test to pick out a non-broke-dick motor for ya.

Do you happen to have a ballpark figure on their prices? They aren't listed. Particularly B18c5 or JDM equivalent. JW.
thanks
