Default finally getting my swap done cheap and fast

hello,

Ive been researching for a long time on diff things to put into my hatch and i finally talked to a guy who did a swap for my friend. he said meet up with him when im ready to get my swap done. he said he will do my gs-r swap and help me get everything i need for it for 3-3500 and no more than that. that also includes going from dpfi to mpfi. its awesome. what do u guys think about this deal? and another thing. should i keep my hatch primered and keep it stock looking? i think i wud really tear up the streets with that cuz they wud think it is slow. and im also gonna use nitrous. how big of a shot do u guys think i should use for a wet kit?

SLOW DOWN SLICK.

Get your gsr motor swap done. Does that include buying the motor, axels, ecu, harness. everything? You better it check out.

2nd....Slow down bro. You don't need nitrous in your car.....yet.
You need to learn to drive that beast beofer you blow yourself into a wall. A gs-r in a early civc/crx...is a lot of speed as it is. Break in the motor and get used to smoking people with a great motor. Chill, learn, then operate.
Get more info on that swap. "How long?" "does that include, buying motor, axles, shift linage, Motor mounts, (new hubs/if needed), wiring harness,(u mentioned DPFI-MPFI),
A gs-r motor package shouldn't cost you more then 2500-3000. But for the work he's doing you might want to get it done. Just check all your bases. and plan to spend at least 1g more then his asking price b/c **** HAPPENS. trust me.

Yeah, you're going a little too fast here. A b18c1 into a EF is plenty fast enough for a first street car, (which I'm assuming this is). Burlyirishdude basically covered all I was giong to tell you. Oh yeah, no don't keep your exterior primered, you just look ghetto . Oh and about keeping your car stock looking, eh do what you want. Get a Supra wing and put two big nitrous bottles in the back. Cmon, make decisions for yourself at least in appearance.

Relax man, B18C1 in an EF you going to be tearing **** up. They're right you should hold on Nitrous, and get to know your motor (just a lil bit . I personally have a B18C1 in Ef si and motor pull really hard when vtec engaged. Good luck with the swap

BREMBO: what did u run when u got your swap in?

And hey guys i really shouldtake some more pics cuz all i really need is my gs-r swap and paintand a couple odds n ends . MY body kit is at my house just not on the car yet.im thinkin bout not puttin it on though. But right now i got stock bumpers and eveything. But hey i have a complete running hatch that i only paid 250 for and i had to put 200 in it and i drove it around the other day lol soooo slow! I couldnt even cherp 2nd. But anyways the guy told me he can hook me up with everything i need for about 3k and then 500 to install. he recently put on into his hatch. im going to get pictures of this dudes car its nuts. He spends mad money on his car. he builds the car up runs it the best he can then he tears it all apart and changes the whole car. i think hes a good guyf or me to get to do this swap.

I've run 14.6 at Palmdale with stock tires. Bone stock motor with b16 tranny (don't really know what kind it is) act stage 2 clutch and full interior. No traction whatsoever man 1st and 2nd gear. I'm still happy with the result though.

lol i was wonderin bout the spedometer never buried one or seen one buried due to speed limiters. and my car may be ugly but its missing the bumpers in the pics they were just put on. its your normal 89 hatch but its primered but if u insist call it ugly lol but thats basically calling all stock looking 88-91 hatches ugly.

K, ill state the obvious...theres no way your gonna bury your speedo in the 1/4 mile. Second, it just stops at the bottom. Third, body kits on crx' are HURTING. Fourth and final, Stay Away from nitrous until your a ~10 second car.

So you want to spend money on a header to run 14s then ditch it to turbo the car?

People have different interest, you might like thing but others will disagree with you. Just as long as you happy with it, that's all it matter. Good luck on your swap
