Default Play in shift fork...Throw out bearing?

Well today I was driving and after a couple minutes I went to shift from 2nd to 3rd and the clutch pedal stuck to the floor... I took my seat belt off leaned down and pulled the pedal out but it felt like it still didn't have pressure after a couple pumps... Luckily I was still in 2nd gear so I just made a u-turn and returned home... I pulled in the driveway and pumped the clutch pedal a several times and the pressure seemed to come back... Master and slave cylinder are both brand new and are not leaking... Fluid reservoir is full and system is properly bled... But the only thing I did notice is that my shift fork has play in it now going up and down... I know it was not like this before... I've been doing some searching and it seems like it might be the throwout bearing... I just want to get some opinions and I am wondering how long it will last before I need to replace it if that is the problem??? Any advice/info is greatly appreciated... Oh and the clutch was replaced almost 3k miles ago with a CM Stage 3 and no the TOB was not replaced...

no, it sounds like yuou havre a leak in your clutch lines.. thats the only reason your pedal would sink to the floor.. the play in the shiftfork is normal if there is little to no pressure in the clutch lines..
throw out bearing failure will make loud noises.. not make your pedal sink to the floor like that..
get your lines checked out, just because your cylinders are brand new doesn't mean one of them isn't defective. or stopped working..

Well I think you were wrong... I drove the car around yesterday after that incident and clutch pedal seemed less firm... No fluid leaked out from either cylinder and the lines are not leaking... But today I drove the car and then it started making a "loud noise"... I let the car idle and popped the hood and sure enough the noise is coming from the tranny and when you touch the shift fork you can feel the vibrations running through it... So it looks like the bearing did fail...

And just to let you know JonGP4, I have read stories on here about peoples TOB failing and it made there clutch pedal stick to the floor... With that info and the play in my shift fork, that is how I came to the conclusion it was my TOB...

I believe my TOB is shot, and my clutch feels fine (infact, my brother has the Xtreme PP instead of the HD one I have, yet he thinks my clutch pedle is actually heavier than his).... anyhow, mine makes a screeching/grinding sound if you try to slip the clutch when you start.. I can also feel this like vibration in the clutch pedle which I believe is from the bearing rubbing on the "fingers". i may be way off and its something with my clutch its self, but it seemed to be in good shape before it was reinstalled.

i just hope that once you drop the trany and find out thats the problem, you wouldn't have wasted time and money on doing that..
but what do i know..
the only way i see that happening is 1 of 3 things..
the bearing fails, and thus stops spining, if one were to keep driving the car like this, it would get hot and shatter?(maybe) the missing bearing would then account for the slop and loss of pressue in the clutch line
or 2.. the forks on the pressure plate clapsed and same would apply, loss of pressure in the clutch line
Or it could be loss of pressure do to bad parts.. or a leak in the line?
